The great fights of Dream 16 event will be take place today, September 25, 2010 at Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan. Every contestant hit their obligatory marks, including main event fighters Tatsuya Mizuno and light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi.
James Thompson was originally set to face Ikuhisa Minowa, but afterwards found himself without an foe when 2008 Beijing Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii stepped in and stole his spot. His long flight to the Orient wasn’t a total wash, as he was remunerated with a last-minute scrap against Deep Megaton champ Yusuke Kawaguchi.
